Recently Amy Howard had a blog post on how to do a decoupage-lacquered tray and the finished result was so amazing I knew it had to be a craft we taught at RE.
The steps are super simple and the supplies are easy to find. The Birch trays we used can be ordered from Wal-Mart or on Amazon. After the trays arrived we took them to our friends at Westport Glass & Mirror to have glass inserts cut for each tray.
So now rather than us recreate the steps in our own blog, here is the link to Miss Amy’s Blog.
Before you slip away check out a few of the pictures from our classes at RE. The trays the Ladies created in class turned out so cute and everyone was very happy with the finished project.
If you haven’t taken a class at RE YOU’RE MISSING OUT! Make sure you check out our upcoming schedule because we have some great stuff coming up. Remember we do all the prep for your craft provide you with a fun environment serve you snacks (and wine) and the best part... We do ALL THE CLEAN UP!
