Many of us don't know what to do before spring really arrives. Do we go ahead and embrace spring early or do we just sit by immpatiently waiting for the cold to go away?
Personally I don't think you have to go all out for spring quite yet. Decorating during this "in between" time can be simple. Just adding a new rug at the front door can introduce some color and interest to a space. Adding a few fresh throw pillows can always make your space feel softer and lighter. If you are just too overwhelmed pick up a spring scented candle and light it. Trust me it works.
If you are ready to "spring into action" with freshening up your home then think about organizing with some great vintage inspired containers. Inspired by writing the blog, I decided to clean and declutter my own kitchen island (we will see how long it lasts). This decision was quick and to freshen the space all I did was add this handmande soy candle, a sign I alerady had and this new recipe box! (See picture below). The island was soooo full of clutter, so I found a cool vintage basket that I could toss all the misc. items and hide them. AHHH now it feels so clean and fresh and makes me happy. This is just proof that you don't always have to overthink every space when it comes to decorating your home. Just go with what feels right and so what helps you to breathe deeper each day.
