This boho wreath is popping up all over Pinterest, so of course we had to toss our hat in the ring on designing one.
Here is your supply list to start:
Hint we got almost all our supplies at Hobby Lobby
-Embroidery hoop (pictured below)
-floral clippers (pictured below)
-floral wire (pictured below)
-Vine (we love this one): Light Green Plastic New Sawgrass Hanging Bush
-Misc. greens or flowers of your choice
To start, we snip the wires into about three inch sections. We cut about 20 so we had them handy as we were moving along.
Next we take the vine and cut each vine into a single length (it will make eight). To attach the vine you will wrap each wire around the hoop and vine piece cross into an "x" then tighten around the hoop.
The picture above is how Annie wrapped the end of each wire into a little hidden ball behind the vine. Using the same method you can intermix floral stems, different greenery pieces and large silk blooms.
This is not a hard craft, it's just something that can't be rushed and you will want to keep it nice and tight so the vines don't flop around!
For fun, we attached a wood cut-out that we sell at all three of our locations.
If you'd love to make a wreath but but want a little more guidance, then check out one of our upcoming classes where we will provide all supplies and teach you how to make these fun wreaths!
Be creative and have some fun. These wreaths are sure to be the envy of all your friends!
